The raiders attacked with a mobile battering ram, but it seems about half of the raiders misstook horse carts for battering rams. Suddenly a large group of raiders began to slowly, orderly and unaggressive to follow a horse cart. I only saw the actual mobile battering ram for a short moment untill it seemd to actually disapear (?) After following a horse cart for a while the raiders stopped following the horse cart and continued raiding, but as soon as a new cart was in the vicinity, they stopped raiding and started to follow the horse cart again.
Have seen this behavior in the 0.9 playtest, but it was inconsistent: sometimes they followed the cart passively, sometimes they killed the driver and went back to raiding.
If I could be sure they would just follow the cart, Iād use to it draw off some of the raiders and split up the groups hitting the walls and gates so they could be more easily dealt with, but when I tried that they killed the driver and were moving back towards the walls in seconds!
I experienced that too but thought there were attacking the driver.
When possible, I request the driver to retreat and then raiders are not attacking the cart.
Later the driver will get back to the cart by himself.
