Ranged inquisitor

So I am playing as Witchblade and my wife really likes ranged charachters and would prefer a ranged inquisitor. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what class is most synergisitic with inquisitor especially if she wants to build a dual wielding pistol build. Or is this a good route to go with inquisitor as the base class? I did not see any builds like this featured yet. Thank you for any thoughts!

Try this or this.

Both of those look really cool, thank you so much for your help!

I´d recommend Demolitionist as second class, that way she hardly can do anything wrong. Playing one myself atm, it´s tons of fun.

Soldier probably works great too, elemental cadence plus maybe a shield (actually found a shield for soldier + inquisitor today).

My Purifier. Not to brag, just to give you an idea.
Press S for skills and devotion (and switch to secondary weapon set, no clue why this never works properly).

Thanks for the advice - your build looks really cool!

Everyone’s in love with the DW ele-based Inquisitor or the Retaliation Tank tactician. But when I first saw Inquisitor tree, I’ve been hearing voices in my head to make a build like this >>> self-named Buck-Shot Bill.

It’s physical damage based 2H Cadence Marksman. It’s beefy and tanky boasting high DA & Armor, but with OA reaching up 2.8-3k when procs are active. It has high sustain given the nature of the Soldier tree and HP regen Devotion perks. 20% enemy damage reduction (5 secs) every 7.5 secs and the innate phy resistance shred that Soldier tree offer combo’d with other devotion procs and mark of Dreeg.

It doesn’t use the Bread & Butter Skills of the Inquis (Seal), but abuses the stat points that the mastery passive offers: OA, Crit Dmg, All Dmg, Flat Physical damage, Atk Speed%. Given the high crit chance due to being an Oleron’s Build, Deadly Aim will be perma active on you. Couple that with your damage amp’d up by Kraken.

I have a good feeling it might be able to clear end-game content with decent ease. Given that it has tank like stats, that’s armed with a bazooka.

I’m pretty new to the game and just started a purifier. I was wondering if someone could help me a little with the beginning skill allocation. I current have bursting rounds to 6 but the 20% chance for AOE is a little sparse. I’m currently working towards bursting rounds in the demo tree, hoping that will shore up some problems with AOE. Any advice would be great, thanks!

Easiest way to shore up some AoE in early demo builds is to up flame touch and add a searing ember (flint core bolts later) to a weapon and use the fireball (greater fireball) skill as your main attack. It is extremely powerful early on. Just stack +fire/elemental gear.

As far as skills go, canister bomb is another very strong AoE, but will require more points. It is a great addition to compliment the fireball skill once that starts to slow down.

Explosive strike (second ability in fire strike) adds some AoE, but is still pretty weak early. Brimstone will add a ton of strong AoE, but needs a lot of points to get there.

I haven’t personally use it, but I’ve seen several posts saying words of pain in the inquisitor line is amazing early and can carry you there most of normal/veteran. Storm box is strong too, but can be hard to aim.
