I have seen quite a few builds on youtube where they have Attack Speed+ in their gear when their main attack power is Eye of Reckoning.

I thought the attack speed is capped for Eye of Reckoning? It’s basically a channeled power that moves around.

Is there an advantage to have + attack speed?

Yes,if you play EoR you need super high attack speed,is good if you come close to the maximum.
