Reasonably powerful builds

Oooookay…I take your word for it.

First of all sorry for my english. I have a question about some objects in the various builds. there are some prefix or suffix that I can not recreate with grimtools. why? is the site not updated or have there been changes with patches?

example:

Stalwart living ring of readiness

Are you filtering by rarity (common, magic, rare, epic and legendary) by any chance?

If you are, make sure to keep “magic” selected as well as “rare”, because both “Stalwart” prefix and “of Readiness” suffix are of “magic” rarity.

so can I create a rare (green) ring and put a magic (yellow) prefix? thank you I did not know

Any rare item can roll with both magic and/or rare affixes. Also, any magic item can roll with both magic and/or rare affixes.

If an item has any rare component to it, be it the base item or any of the affixes, it is considered a of rare rarity. That’s why a Living Ring with both magic affixes is still a rare item, that’s also why a Stoneplate Greaves (magic craftable boots) that rolls with one or both rare affixes is also a rare item.

At this point my tongue is braided

I want the new patch already, where is it (

2-3 weeks to wait.

Unbelieveable! That’s way too long!
Guess I’ll add some builds then, though I didn’t want to because patch will bring changes. But waiting until May is too much for me.

You doing that thing where you pot the worse ahead so expectations won’t be high?:stuck_out_tongue:

Just wanted to post a my own version of a Fire Forcewave Tactician.
This is just a variation on what Zhuugus and Autentist have posted on the devotion setup.

Sharzul Forcewave Tactician

Main difference is that my version gets Wayward Soul with full Chariot, and Viper for % Elemental Resistance Reduction. Otherwise, I keep Fissure, Meteor Shower, Ghoul, Elemental Storm.

OA and DA is still comparable, and this is without Stalwart/Readiness MI Rings.
Cleared Crucible Gladiator 170 with 2 buffs, no banners.

Viper can be good, forgot about it. Judicator’s rings are stricktly worse than Stalwart Of Readiness. Grimtools shows you DA with Wayward Soul Proc (and it works only 7sec with 18sec cd) and Judicators’ Proc, which works only when enemies died recently, so it won’t work most of the time on waves 160 and 170 when you most need it. This is still a very stong build concept which can carry anyway and Judicators are still a good choice if you don’t have Stalwart Of Readiness.

Speaking of boots. This build has mana issues (because nemesis have stupid mana leech resistance), so I suggest trying “Of Insight” suffix on boots, that should help with mana.

Amazing. This is very helpful for new players or those who didn’t get so far by doing something wrong (like me). Thanks for the share and good job all players!

Exactly

You’re welcome!

This is a quote from Grim misadventure #136 , posted yesterday:

So you were actually right.

Wow, awesome. I always forget to watch Grim Misadventures and dev streams, so this was a surprise.

Zuugus, I accidentally turned my spellbinder intro 100% faceroll monster

Quote from your youtube video:
>dont be gready, press Aether cluster when you mess up skills rotation

So facerolling on Aether Clusters, huh?

Your build always had insane damage but messing up defensive skill rotation on wave 160 or 170 always meant instant death. That’s not what I would recommend to 95% of players.
Well, I’ll check your new version anyway. I think it will have more chances after the patch when they tune down ruthlessness a bit.

Bonus style points for using spear

He can’t afford to be greedy. He’s playing hardcore :stuck_out_tongue:
