Reflected physical damage: Armor?

Hey there,

A quick question, concerning 1.1.9.1 and below:
If I deal CONVERTED physical damage, it won´t be blocked by enemy armor.
If that very damage is being reflected now - will it also not be blocked by my armor?

legit no idea, usually player dmg is so increased that armour doesn’t really matter anyway on reflect :thinking:

Alright, think I can answer myself:
My endgame character with 3k armor, 17k life and 40% physical resist one-shots himself via physical doom bolt when reflectet.
Thats not possible if my armor would protect me I´d say.

depends how much it hits for tho
even if it only hits for 35k dmg, which seems low even on reflected doombolt, that would still 1shot you regardless of armour

again, i’ve no clue, just saying it’s super easy for player to have enough bonus dmg/deal enough dmg that reflect can 1hit kill you regardless, i’ve experienced this many times on non converted phys cadence builds :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: and armour aint remotely the same value as %reflect reduct when you are dealing with those high values

Yeah, me too. But only with TRAUMA builds, usually not with physical builds.

trauma is annoying on reflect because they usually last a long time, they don’t usually 1shot you, that’s the flat phys, and i can guarantee you with cadence hitting for like a million without converted dmg that armour doesn’t save you there :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

sounds like enough to 1shot you armour or not then

still would be curious to get the actual answer answered anyway, i wonder why none of the other folks have popped in yet :thinking:
