my question is: i have a quest on ultimate that needs ‘x’ boss to be killed to get a quest loot from him, can i get that loot killing him on elite mod, without having that specific quest on elite ?
edit: quest name is ‘secrets of the lost’ from outcast faction
AFAIK, quests are difficulty specific, the only exceptions are quests which require you to obtain items to complete the quest. For example, scrap/aether crystals for the devils crossing quests, or the slith necklaces for the Rovers.
I could be wrong though, I’m not totally sure.
well it is a item drop after all, but will it drop from the boss, on another difficulty

He won’t spawn without the quest active/finished, and the quest item won’t drop at all if you did the quest before, so no. But otherwise, yes, you can carry quest items over between difficulties.
