Réputation mistake possibily reload ? or just need make a new caracter

hello / good evening
I accidentally used a reputation bonus scroll, I would like to know how to withdraw these bonuses to be able to farm the reputation as I wish (without bonus)
I’m really hesitant to delete this character if I can’t farm character reputation without a bonus that I don’t want
I think I’m the only one who likes to farm things without bonuses
this character being lvl 97 with a build almost finished I throw my little hope not to have to delete my character here

Welcome to the forum. :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately, there’s no way to undo a Writ/Mandate. Only if, for some reason, you hadn’t chosen between Kymon’s and the Order on a previous difficulty; then you could go back and choose the opposite faction, but that would reset your rep with both of them reversing their hostile/friendly status with you.

You can send me your save folder zipped (Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\main\_CHARACTERNAME)
and I can try reversing it for you. But you’d need to first switch from Cloud Saves to Local Saves if you’re using them.

w8 isn’t there supposed to be a plus sign or something suggesting you read writ / mandate?
or perhaps mandates don’t cause it to show

I can see these “+” on my reputation screen yeah
( +50% when my mous on the + )

Hmmm… I need to think why I don’t see them. The character is 75 level right?

@RandomPlayer Is this your character? Do you play Grim Dawn 1.1.9.3?

Uuhh… I accidentaly uploaded a backup I dn’t even remember I had, please retry it should be the right file now (lvl 97)

the right one look like that

Unfortunately I failed. I tried modding Writs and Mandates so that they set multipliers back to 1.0.
But the game prevents the players from consuming them if the, changed or not, multipliers have lower values than the current ones.

For now I don’t see any solutions besides recreating the whole character from scratch using editors
or finding these multipliers / related functions in the memory using Cheat Engine but they are both very time consuming.

Perhaps someone else reading this thread will figure something out.

thank you for trying I understand that this kind of request is unusual but it’s cool of you to have tried to help me ^^
I hope someone will have the solution ^^

I came up with a new idea and might have succeeded.
The pluses are gone, just test if there’s still some rep gain on these factions and that I didn’t freeze the reps totally somehow.

Back up your current save somewhere before you overwrite with mine.
You’ll see that you loaded my save by seeing that there are no pluses.

_anju.zip (959.2 KB)

@RandomPlayer Just see if the rep changes if you kill some mobs in Malmouth.

[edit] I’ve tested it myself actually by killing some monsters in Malmouth Ultimate and it seems fine to me.
You can check if bounty rep gain is appropriate and not 50% higher but I doubt it.
