I’m trying to get to the point where I get the extra Rover quest by achieving Honored reputation with them in Arkovia. I don’t really know all the details about the faction system to be honest, so I’m hoping I can get help here.
I am currently Respected and 716 away from Honored. I’ve done some bounty tasks, but I ran out of tasks to do, so I looked closer and found that killing Undead is something that will increase reputation.
So I go hunting for undead all over Arkovia (Old, Foothills, Undercity) - no change in reputation. I kill a few undead heroes - nothing. I kill the end boss in the Undercity - nothing. I’m still at 716 needed…
Am I missing something, or am I at a reputation spot where only the bounty table can get me the last few points?
I had continued to encounter critters that matched my level for so long that I had started assuming they’ll be a match to my level anywhere…
OK, so I won’t find undead in Arkovia that match my level. To gain reputation with the Rovers, can I hunt undead in higher level areas and still gain their reputation?
And yes, I will simply restart the game and do the bounties again.
If you can find any undead near your level currently in the difficulty you are in, then do it. If not, bounties are pretty much the only way to get rep. Or move on to the next difficulty and then come back to Normal to do the quest after you reach Honored.
Judging by your level you might want to move onto Elite to gain more rep rather than farming norm/vet. You can always go back to Norm to do that quest should you want to in the future.
