Hi to all, creators of the game and Fangs of Asterkarn foremost!
In every new DLC to Grim Dawn, there were added some number of resistance augments, solo ones and double resistance augments, for the gear slots (helm, breast, pants, belt, boots, gloves and shoulders).
I would like to ask for implementation of more “bleeding resistance” double resist augments.
1] 11/11 or 12/10 Bleeding res / Fire res
2] 11/11 or 12/10 Bleeding res / Cold res
3] 11/11 or 12/10 Bleeding res / Lighting res
4] 11/11 or 12/10 Bleeding res / Aether res.
I am not asking for implementation of augments covering
A] Bleed res / Acid res (already covered by Slith Venom and by Ugdenbog Leather component),
B] Bleed res / Pierce res (already covered by Seal of Might component and by Silk Swatch component),
C] Bleed res / Vitality res (already covered by Osyr’s Wisdom, by Malmouth Woundsear Powder, and by Unholy Inscription component and by Seal of Might component),
D] Bleed res / Elemental res (already covered by Wardstone component),
E] Bleed res / Chaos res (already covered by Imbued Silver component).
Says you. Wardstone is a legitimately great component for many of my caster characters when I have barely any form of movement speed and the Elemental resistance is amazing to have.
Pierce / Bleeding looks to be the obvious next equipment Augment to be introduced as it covers many resistance holes quite nicely. A few more Health Regeneration equipment augments would be great as well (not flat Health, though, as that would bring way too much powercreep). Maybe a flat Armor bonus augment since that’s becoming much more valuable as Physical resistance is reworked?
Hard to tell as there will also likely be new components introduced as well, and who knows what kind of components will end up outclassing who.
As a medal augment as opposed to a rune, sure if it had a good amount of armor to offset the loss of a movement skill/dmg or utility stats it provides.
Weapons, rings, amulets have a large variety of possible stats already. Equipment is pretty limited in comparison.
I want an armor augment with life on it. Don’t care if it’s flat or percentage. Just want something general purpose in case my resistances are covered by gear. Barrowholm has one such augment, but we need a second one.
Some of you may remember that Death’s Vigil had a Lightning+Aether augment that got changed into Vitality+Aether. Well that leaves a slight deficit for Lightning because there’s a Fire+Pierce Augment and a Cold+Pierce Augment. There’s also a definite deficit for bleeding resist, so a solid addition would be Lightning+Bleed.
