there should be a search function for resources in the game. the function should show you on the exposed part of the map where the resource like clay or iron are located.

Are you using the F4 key to show you the resources on the map?

Yes I very much desire a search function. The function in Civilization 6 is what I have in mind, and it would save so much time and dragging and frustration for me, and seems like a simple addition. Even with f4 toggle and viewing angle controls, I miss things sometimes. Please consider.
