Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington commits suicide at 41

There wasn’t a day when I didn’t listen to Linkin Park, they used to be absolute favorite band until about 5 years ago. I still never stopped respecting them for having a considerable impact on my childhood through their music. A natural death might not have been as impactful on me, i would’ve been sad even then but I have learnt to accept that death despite being sad is still the natural order of life but suicide at such an age is really depressing

I just hope he found the peace he desired in death.

Ohh damn… Have not listened to them in years but, during my childhood they were a great band that i enjoyed on the frequent, so did my brother.

May he rest in peace.

Suprised the fuck out of me to hear this news. I loved Linkin Park (and still do) first two albums and the news of Chester passing just made me sad.

RIP but i never liked linking park.

hung himself on the birthday of his good friend Chris Cornell, who took his own life two months ago. sad stuff :frowning:

It’s especially sad because he did a lot of work to raise awareness about mental health problems.
