You are welcome , mate
Following this guide and so far so good. Will be a higher level before switching to retaliation as I got carried away in SR and levelled up more than I intended. Always like to grab the shrine in there.
I wasn’t actually planning on making yet another character, but the ease at which the budget setup killed Lokarr in your video appeals as I’m looking for a build that can farm endgame with low effort.
Glad you enjoy it mate , build is really strong GSA did amazing job on the budget setup , also tons of fun
Also might want to add that retaliation doesn’t work well in multiplayer. I think that’s why they gave it such a big boost as the code is less refined than regular damage types. It’s amazing in single-player now though. Pet retaliation is worse.
Yes , it’s hard to maintain aggro cause aggro in Grim Dawn is tight to debuffs , so if any of DPS in the group aplies more debuffs than the tank that player is on top of the aggro table constantly, a very dedicated group of players beat last stage in SR in the past but their party was properly tuned so tanks don’t loose the aggro
Is it an option, to put 1 point in markovian’s advantage or ist this useless?
Won’t hurt the build at all to be fair if you like to use it , there are some free points in the setup. Won’t be much damage increase either but if you like animations sure go for it
I was wondering about this. Sounds right.
Unless we’re going for RatA, then it should be almost the same as solo.
Respecced to Rta, and it’s going really smoothly, bosses and high health mobs take a bit longer to kill but everything else just evaporates around you. Far more tanky than the acid Sentinel Rta build I’ve been running. Will check in again at the end of FG, want to see how it performs against Korvaak, most classes have beaten him with varying degrees of ease but one or two have struggled.
If you upgrade your gear regularly, everything is face tankable in the campaign ( world bosses like Kraval and Mad Queen included ) , that level of regen and Armor is top notch
Well that was easy if a little slow, Korvaak, Mad Queen no problem just as you described, now on to Elite and still cruising, I’ll collect the rest of the shrines and work my way to Homestead, farm up some more gear then onto Ultimate.
Yes ,bosses that don’t autoatatcks are a bit slow cause most of the damage during leveling is passive from the retaliations but everything gets together later on
You might want to update the devotion path as at some point you remove Eel and Lion, I did this when I had 55 devotion points. You need those points for Hyrian.
Thanks , I was sure I miss something path looks too short , I will fix it
Edit: I miss few steps somehow prob didnt save it during one of the sessions , it works properly now , thanks for the catch
