Returned player - need some tips and hints

Hello players,

after really long break i am back in game. I bought Ashes of Malmouth expansion few days ago and i am very excited with new stuff in the game (stat points reset, yay!). But… need some guidance, bcos GrimWiki still miss many infos…
My current avatar is Witchblade (Cadence Warborn) 94lvl. Every item on my char is from old times, max 75lvl stuff. The gameplay is smooth, but a bit slower than i wish. No serious problems so far, only Tainted Wood boss Gargabol cought me with pants down (too much fire i guess). Now i am in Malmouth - Steelcap district.

  1. about Barrowholm
  • as far as i know this faction is similar to The Outcast (you can be friend or foe with them). I have chosen to be friend with them. Good or bad decision? Is their dungeon worth farming? The Outcast’s dungeon can drop Outcast’s Secret helm, does Barrowholm have something similar?
  1. about Lokkar’s Spoils set
  • looks like amazing leveling set (for sure i would like to lvl up Inquisitor and Necromancer). How hard is to kill Lokkar and get this set? Not sure if i can do it with my old Witchblade.
  1. looking for new Witchblade build
  • mythical versions of my old stuff have some different abilities. Does anyone have build with mythical gear which i can aim for? Mainly for Ultimate Campaign. For Lokkar set farming and other stuff needed for other chars.

Where’s grimtools of your current character? You can import the save straight into the tool.
Barrowholm is no biggie. If needed, you can farm it with another character. And its dungeon doesn’t have unique drops AFAIK. Barrowholm nemesis is an actual entity and thus can spawn outside of cellar.

  1. Barrowholm have the best augment in the game, so it’s worth to be friend with them.

  2. There is no other way to know that but trying yourself.

  3. Physical witchblades use any physical set: myth. Markovian, myth. Warborn, Octavius. Didn’t try Chaos witchblade, so I can’t recommend something.
