Ring and defensive ability question

  1. Im not sure how works ring witch gives you: % reduced target resistances… is this apply with magick atack or melee …or both ?

  2. will magick attack be stronger if target defensive ability is lowered (do i have more crit chance with magick att if i lower target defensive ability), or defensive ability is joust for physical attack?

  1. If it’s just a stat on the ring like this one, it requires % weapon damage in some form to apply. Can be part of a spell or skill or proc or anything, so long as it deals % weapon damage. Values below 100% will scale the effect appropriately (50% weapon damage = half the effect) whereas the effect does not scale above 100%.

  2. Lowering your enemies defensive ability makes them easier to crit by you from any instance of damage that can crit.
