Due to the character having to stand in the circle to gain the benefits I feel it would be better if clicking on “Ritual Circle” automatically placed the circle beneath your characters feet.
Having it as a click and cast anywhere skill is kind of annoying in single player but I guess I can see some slight opportunities were it would be useful in a multiplayer scenario.
I just feel it breaks the pace when your focused on bringing down an enemy with AAR and then have to stop mid-stream to focus casting Ritual Circle on yourself before continuing. etc etc
SoC damages enemies that stand in the circle. Hence placing it anywhere is great. You can even stand on it if you are surrounded.
Ritual Circle does not damage enemies. It’s a self buff that is only activated when you stand in the circle. The last thing you do when you place it is “kite”. So I’m not exactly sure if I’m misinterpreting your post.
