This is my first post in the official forums. I have been working my way through Act 3 of Veteran difficulty as a 2H Vitality/Bleeding Ritualist without too much trouble yet! Alas, there is always room for improvement, so I was wondering if you have any tips regarding this type of build! I’d post my grimtools link for the build I have thought of but sadly I need to make more posts before I am able to.
Regardless, I would love to see what you guys have pulled off so far and what your opinions on Devotion/Mastery point allocation for the build are! Additionally, I was wondering if there are any Transcendent/Mythical relics similar to Gluttony, since it’s the one I’ve been using and have loved it so far.
I’m doing the same - Ritualist with a 2h, and I’m aiming for Savagery/Bone Harvest to make use of that sweet life leech. I guess best way for devotions is to get more life leech and Vit damage by going for Typhos, Rattosh, ghoul, wendigo and then adding defensive in the form of Chariot, Obelisk and the likes. I’ve not yet figured the best possible combo as I lack gear for this, but clearing Vanilla was not a problem. Killed Log with lvl 42 and just started XPac content.
As a Relic, I used the one that gives the troll rage so I don’t need to invest into Savagery too early. I maxed Bone Harvest, Wendito Totem and the Necro Exclusive Skill that gives life leech and Vit damage. I guess I’ll level the WPS skills next, up to the point I get 20 % for each.
Edit: Also, rush for Kraken as first devotion - I always forget it, but as a 2h this is pretty much the first thing you should do.
Grasping and Entangling Vines are surprisingly good with Wendigo Mark if you want a melee ritualist. Adds some much needed CC and sustain to the build, especially if you add some Soul Siphon (which is worth it just for the regen reduction to baddies).
I’ve actually enjoyed bleed/vitality ritualist enough it’s distracting me from finishing a ritualist summoner concept.
EDIT: Rend, Will of Rattosh and Wendigo Mark are just massively fun procs for the build. Highly recommended.
Thank you guys for your replies! What do you thing of the Bat mastery? I’ve been using it for quite some time and it’s been going great! Additionally, regarding Will of Rattosh, is it worth picking up with all the Aether damage it provides that will hardly get any value?
I will try to make an updated grimtools build with the new information! Thank you again.
In your case, no you probably aren’t interested in the aether damage at all, but you probably would be interested in the vit and life leech reduction combined with your other vit and life leeching skills/procs.
So it’s worth picking up the big constellations even though you don’t benefit from all the bonuses due to the overall bonuses they provide? Assuming they have some synergy with your build, that is.
