@SirTrousers mentioned here about this bug but it expired. In my case, I had just one root cellar for a while with town hall level 2 and no upgrade available yet on the root cellar. Mine went 70% over the limit possibly after it was moved.

Can you still store more there?
If not, than this is likely a 1x event that could occur when a storage building is moved. What I expect is occurring is the assignment of tasks for greens to be brought to storage occurred before the moved greens (those originally stored) made it to the new location.
Still not desirable though.
I already built more storage just in case I can’t. We can’t specifically try to store anything there and the markets and homes are taking them in as well. About the only thing I have done differently than usual is in the markets I disabled raw meat and fish to try and force them through to the smokers instead. When I get my preserve building running with a good lot of glass, I may try that with the anything that can be preserved as well. I’m currently running on 6 months supply of food for the town though so not quite up to holding food for long yet anyways.
