Rougelike suggestion

So while waiting for the expansion I gave myself a goal of unlocking the 500k monsters killed achievement and so I’ve been runing at least one rougelike a day. And after a few weeks of doing mostly those I can say that SoT and BoC do need a boost in the rewards factor.

Breaking down what we get from each place:
SoT: *ghost MI’s, *ectoplasm and corpse dust (counting those two in as they are crucial for key production), *chance of 3 legendary items from Alkamos
BoC: *obsidian MI’s, *Blood, *chance of legendary from Shar’zul (probably doesn’t drop, over 70 runs, super tilted running that place now)
PV: *fleshwarped and aetherial mage MI’s, *Brain, *Manticore eye, *dynamite and crystals, *trove, *3 belt MI’s and a MI cleaver *legendary from Van Aldritch

And as you can easily see Port Valbury more then doubles in items of interest the other two rougelikes. Not to mention the greater ammount of lootable objects one can find in there (chests, dead bodies etc.).

Would be nice if this would be somehow evened out. While it might not be an option currently, maybe for the expansion you guys could give the mini-bosses of SoT (Ilgor) and BoC (two guardians at Fields of Despair and Lagoth’ak the Harbinger of Blood) some MI items (maybe gloves? I don’t think there are any MI gloves and I don’t remember a end-game legendary set that uses the gloves slot).

Might as well suggest buffing the drop chances of said boss legendaries.
73 BoC runs and still no Worldeater.
We’re reaching the point when the grind becomes a chore rather then fun. After run 100 I’ll probably just download some outside program and give myself the damn thing, won’t even really feel like cheating, just a fair compensation of all the time spend in BoC with little to no rewards (let’s face the fact that the treasure room at the end of a rougelike is pitiful most of the time).
I do not understand why a singleplayer game has something that ridiculously tedious and grindy to get.

Farm bosses with no stars on top of em like kryzzog the reanimator, warden, hidden path main bosses, final boss, nemisis, cromley or skeleton key areas

I have noticed the same. I often start rougelike dungeons with empty pockets. And every time I run PV, I finish with mi bags more close to full than when I run SoT or BoC. I run with green items filter btw.

What has that to do with the rougelike boss legendary items? Those can drop only from as far as I know. Talking of course about Soulrend, Alkamos’ ring set, Shar’zuls Worldeater and Decree of Van Aldritch.

Yep, you’re right…MI’s only drop from that specific monster, hence the name
