Is there anything else that you have to do to trigger the Chthonic rifts to appear once you’ve got this quest? Because I have the quest with my Elite Warder and can’t find the entrance in Blood Grove anywhere. I’ve been all over it and it hasn’t appeared.
I am rushing so haven’t done some of the game’s side quests, but I don’t know if there’s one that is also linked to this that needs completing before they spawn. :undecided:
I had similar problem once. The one in Blood Grove didn’t appear at all, even though I do all quests (even when “speedrunning” the game).
This never happened to me again after 1.0.5.0 or something. This might be a very rare bug.
Darn. Thanks USER_NAME_01. I was hoping to do that rift on the way through as I had the quest, but looks like I’ll have to do the usual and backtrack when I start another session. Bummer. 
The rifts should always be there whether you have the quest or not, but the quest items only spawn when you have the quest IIRC.
Did you check all the spawn spots? adoomgod made this map which shows quite a few spots, but it’s from 2015 so some of their locations might have been changed or more may have been added.
Yes, I looked at that on Wiki. I’ve run through all the Blood Grove and no sign of it. Usually I’ve found it to the west, but the other day it was over to the east side of the Grove so I guess it has either more spawn spots or they’re more spread out now.
There’s a 6th spot that’s not on Weyu’s map. In the middle area where the Devotion Shrine spawns on Normal.
Yep, not there either. Also wasn’t where Bolivar is, I found it there a few days ago.
Just about to start again so hopefully it spawns this time around.
