Stormreaver Mythical Stormreaver
Is this item even useful for anything? I always want to make a build around this one, but I, also always, end up getting a shitty build that has below average damage, or rather shit damage. I can’t find anything to do with it. I did see some builds using it, but they also had kinda low-ish damage with it.
I never bothered with the mythical version, as I think it’s way weaker than the regular one, and it also buffs storm totem, but it sucks on totem Shaman because there’s already an off-hand and dagger that buff the totem anyway.
Do you have any cool builds with it? I already tried an electrocute Forcewave and Primal Strike build, and these were the only ones that I actually wanted to make, but they seem to suck hard. I’ll just remind that I like the regular Stormreaver more, so no totem Mythical Stormreaver builds please.
PS: I want a motherfucker build, something that goes in and shows the weapon that he/she wields. Not a pussy caster build that runs away all the time. #GoInOrGoHome
I’m trying hard to build another Stormreaver build and it seems to have exactly the same damage values as your build, lol… Anyway, I like that build, might do something similar to yours.

Still looks shit to me, but 3 lightning spheres and two lightning bolts… mhm. And yes, I put more on defense in general, if I can (I hate full damage characters, they’re not fun to me).
You want full Light Defender set in crucible. Shard do a lot of dmg.
Charoit is a waste of devotions points, Tempest is useless w/o CDR. Vigor never worth more that one pointer. Word of arms is useless. Wendigo totem is useless. Feral hunger and Upheavel don’t work with PS.
You need savagery for slow resistance, 8% phyz resist and IAS bonuses.
Yeah I was going Savagery at first and forgot to remove them, and didn’t realize that after reskilling. I don’t care about Crucible tbh. I do stuff like that all the time, and then wonder why the heck do I miss so many skillpoints, and when I am about to rebuild that character, I realize that sometimes even over 20 points are put somewhere that won’t affect my character, or will in a very minimum way. Not a big deal though.
Anyway, I’d realize I have added skills that don’t work anyway.
I have a question for @Ptirodaktil about that build from the video. It obviously kicks ass, so no criticism, I just wanna understand a few things.
Since the gear boosts neither Primal Strike nor Savagery, wouldn’t it be better to focus strictly on Savagery since it’s used anyway for the Tenacity boost?
Devotion bindings. Both the totem and the shard are so called “pseudo pets,” right? AFAIK, they have no weapon damage and give no adcth to the player. Why bind two adcth-wise most important devotions to them?
How do you crit so high with 2300 oa and no da shred?

2.I picked BaT for ADCTH node and Ultos proc for %RR. You can put onepointers somewhere to proc them if you like, just dont expect wonders.
