Does anyone know what to do with this? Is it part of a quest? Does it have something to do with which faction (cult of Bysmiel/Dreeg/Solael) you choose?
I’ve encountered similar altars in tombs and stuff, it just says something like “if only you had the power to use this”…

Found it out…this is how you spawn Calladraga, Scion of the Sands - a very difficult end game boss. You need a “Celestial Essence” this item drops from a red chest called “Korvan Secrets” - a rare chest spawn.
Make sure you’re prepared to fight him as he is very difficult and the Celestial Essence being rare as well.
Lol so I went to unlock it on my fairly strong witchblade (can do 150 crucible) and after dying once the game crashed. Just my luck I guess
Damn this was hard. It literally took me 40 minutes to defeat. Soooo… is this normal? Level 78 Sorcerer. First high level character I have, so I’m probably still learning the ropes.
Ah. According to this thread it’s a level 94 boss. Is that correct?
More like over a 100 if you’re L78. In Normal she spawns as L82 iirc. She’s a superboss.
Callagadra is in top 3 hardest fights in campaign, she’s meant to be significantly harder than the vast majority of single enemy fights you’ll come across, especially on Elite/Ultimate.
More or less yes if it’s on a character not equipped to fight her (which sounds like so).
