When completing a salvage site and you receive the reward screen, there is a magnifying glass you can click on to see it’s location, only it jumps to the temple. If I wanted to see the temple, I’d hit Z to center on my town center and move directly to the temple. This magnifying glass intuitively should point to the site that was just completed so we could hit F5 and see the items on the ground, or even set a saved viewpoint there to keep an eye on it until the stuff is cleaned up.
Edit: Might be an ancient ruin that was excavated. I have now seen two of them finish with no relic, just gold. I have unlocked 12 relics which means I must have bought too many thinking they couldn’t possibly be on the map anywhere if the traders had them. Seems that could be its own bug.
