Core items of the build
- Deathguard set – it converts cold and vitality damage into acid and powers up the Bone Harvest.
- Ghol’s Reach – it gives awe-spiring boosts of cooldown reduction and life steal to the Bone Harvest.
- Mythical Dreadchill Mark – even more damage is great.
- Serenity – +1 to all skills, good defensive proc.
- Putrid Necklace – +1 to Occultist, and it buffs the Blood of Dreeg.
- Mythical String of Maggots – +1 to Necromancer, more acid damage, more crit damage.
- Nightshard – a good shield for Cabalists and Ritualists with a nice proc.
- Ring of Shuroth – it converts vitality damage into acid.
- Mythical Final March – simply good boots to cover up resistances.
Slots for pants and the second ring are flexible.
Advantages:
- absurdly high AOE damage with deadly DOTs applied to all foes in the vicinity;
- high durability and thiccness;
- lots of lifesteal;
- lots of acid resistance reduction (-121), which means that enemies die even faster.
Disadvantages:
- lack of CC resistances – be aware of enemies who can trap or freeze you;
- when fighting bosses, the Bone Harvest consumes a lot of energy.
Tactics
- Always keep the Blood of Dreeg active.
- You see a bunch of mobs or a pack of hero monsters. Apply to them the Curse of Frailty, charge them with the Wendigo Rush and activate the Siphon Souls to proc the Tainted Eruption. If somehow they are still alive, finish them with the Bone Harvest.
- You see a boss, apply the Curse of Frailty to him and start launching Bone Harvest waves. Use Siphon Souls to shred boss’s OA and kill minions, if the boss spawns them.
- If you see enemy charging up the Sunder attack, instantly use on him the Mark of Torment, and it will reflect the Sunder back to him.
- If the enemy uses freezing or stunning attacks, use the “Evade” or the Wendigo Rush.
