I didn’t realize you can back away when he gives you the hostile response as it’s supposedly a randomized flavor event and there is no surefire way to save him every time with the same response.
However.
I can’t handle those kids hating me >.> lol.
I’v been on a quest to find a way to read the quest/conversation files to reset that quest.
So far i’v tried all of the main tools that are rumored to be able to change quests but alas no luck!
I did find however that if you want to entirely reset your quest progress in any given difficulty then you can simply delete the respective quest.gdd file from your characters folder in the difficulty you wish to reset. As long as you don’t have steam cloud save or aren’t connected to the internet, then it generates a fresh default quest.gdd file.
