Screenshot Clearance Sale!

Every screenshot must go to make room for our new inventory!

Heh… well we had a couple screenshots lingering around and I figure, why not put them up in place of some of the crappy ones from earlier in the month.

Enjoy!

Awesome! What’s that on the killing fields, not your friendly familiar?

Come get some!

That’s what I call: Total CooL !

So far you guys are doing an amazing job, the screen shots alone show how much the game has progressed! The Apr-May shots look gray and washed out and bland compared to the latest ones.

This one is my favorite so far.

Love the sharp contrast of the background and foreground, love the brighter blue off in the distance, makes it look a lot more horror show and I love how detailed the stone is. Its vivid without being overly colorful or losing any of the atmosphere.

Wow nice! Keep it up guys.

Mine too, if it was 1920x1200 i’d use it as a wallpaper.

The new screenshots look great. If you compare the Feb-March screenshots to the Apr-May screenshots it’s like night and day, keep up the good work. I really like the art and lighting direction you guys are working towards. When i get my cash flow up im going to purchase the legendary fan edition!

Is it just me, or do the newer screenies kinda look like they’re using bloom?

It does seem like bloom is enabled.

Hmm it does sort of look like that doesn’t it? Weird…

Yay! I’m just happy to see a screenshot not featuring zombies. Yes, I like killing zombies, but I like to kill other things as well. The new Killing Fields screenshot is really nice, and I can already tell that is going to be one of my favorite zones.

RPGWatch got a hold of the ‘Holding the Barricade’ screenshot and a few people gave positive comments. They aren’t an easy crowd to please over there (especially with ARPGs), so I’d say you’re doing something right!

Don’t worry, there will be a good mix of enemies. Zombies are kind of our early development monster - just needed to get a general enemy in for testing and what not. We aren’t quite ready to go all out on enemy production yet but Subshape is slated to start working on a new enemy next week - it will be larger than a human but smaller than a hydra.

Did you just said … HYDRA?! holycrap!

Awesome, thanks for the news medierra.

It almost sounds like you’re giving us a subtle hint about something you’re not quite ready to reveal…

as for the nearly hydra sized monster… FRANKENSTEIN!!!

…'s monsters - the prototype was nice and friendly. But Frankenstein did not give much on QA, when he started mass production. They took over his plant. Frankenstein could flee as the prototype sacrificed itself for his master’s well-being. They cannot maintain the factory on their own and are currently roaming the land, seeking their creator, who went into hiding from them.

Am I the only person who thinks Frankenstein’s Monster was a bit of a lame concept to put into Video Games? I mean, the entire point of the Monster was that it was unique and a sympathetic character, a mirror to the child like innocence and brutality of basic human instinct and that it is the villagers with their prejudice and intolerance that are the true monsters.

Putting Frankenstein’s Monster as a creature design as an end boss or as a Kill en mass enemy like Borderlands did with Dr Ned cheapens both the game and the beautiful and moving story of Mary Shelly.

Just my thought.

Humankind is beyond of the point, where it can be touched by moving stories … we haved turned into these prejudiced and intolerant inhabitants of the global village. :stuck_out_tongue:

I need my breakfast, or I will write more of this …

No, you’re not alone.
