Would appreciate if someone can answer these questions of mine

How useful is it?
Is it much more suited for single target or AoE?
Which playstyle does it augment - Ranged or Melee?
Is it a single target DPS loss due to animation delay?

I would add to the list of questions about this component, why a WPS component has cast speed versus attack.

i haven’t tried it in all scenarios yet, but it seems to be tailored for ranged builds. It does an AOE explosion on hit when used with a ranged weapon. Its animation is the same as any regular shot, so there’s no difference for DPS purposes. The shot has a sparkly chaos effect so you know when it’s Burning Void.
