im farming Servitor’s Slicer nowadays for my blademaster, and i found from monster database that there are 2 bosses who drop one of the three MIs definitely with 100% probablity, so farming the 2 bosses are the best way to get what i want. However, i can only find where Lunal is and have no way to get her brother, Rakka. i noticed from online map(Grim Dawn World Map) that he has 6 random pionts to spawn, but i’ve searched EVERYONE of them to arrest that monster, and failed.
i wonder wethere there are any proconditions, or that monster just won’t spawn anymore due to some reason

as far as i understood Rakka is a 1shot boss/one of those bosses you only get once per char per difficulty, more intended for flavour (or quest) than regular “boss” interaction(ie farm)
can’t say i know this for 110% certainty(haven’t confirmed in the game files myself), but definitely seems to fit with the experience too
(so to actually farm slicers you just run Luna+whatever servitor heroes you get on the path there)

I don’t know if Rakka is one-shot, but I did notice he only spawns when you loot the Malmouth defender corpse on the ground, like a trap.
This is just what I can recall from my recent kills.
yes clicking the corpse in one of the 6 locations is the trigger for the spawn
i just don’t recall ever seeing it/being able to do that more than once per char
as far as i know, that corpse you’ve mentioned has no particular signs on online map, i wonder whether it has a special name in game
okay, it’s seemed that the only thing i can do is to examine everyone of the corpses nearby
the corpse is in the very spot GT lists Rakka boss location/spawn as it’s the corpse that spawns it
2? of the places has a potential fixed/rng unrelated corpse, so ex the western spawn Grim Dawn World Map might appear like it’s fooling us/not working, but would actually have another corpse/potentially spawn two corpses next to eachother if the Rakka corpse was also there
*and it’s always the malmouth soldier type corpse too not the regular blue ragged? corpse
Out of curiosity I just made a run to these locations. I 100% remember spawning Rakka on nightmare with my current character, so I went back to see if it’s a 1shot. (I’m not there yet on Ultimate).
I checked all six locations and found 1 rock and 1 soldier corpse. The corpse did not spawn Rakka.
So, possibly a 1shot boss? No time for repeat runs. I hadn’t heard of 1shot bosses before. Nor do I really farm campaign content much. I just get distracted and keep making new characters.
So, so many characters.
it’s why i mention it while saying i’m not 100% sure, because i don’t recall ever seeing the boss/trigger corpse a 2nd time on my chars, and i think someone else said the same.
It could technically just be the weirdest rng where there’s chance to spawn the corpse and it’s always 100% the first time/just happen to be lucky and always finds the corpse the first time, and then not later. Without checking the tables’ scripts/getting hard confirmation, i’m guesstimating it’s probably just a 1shot boss thingy, since otherwise would have run into it
