Shows Mid Autumn yet it’s still early August! Probably seasons need a shifting…how can a blizzard be justified in Octomber or a heatwave in April?
Because it is a fictional world, and even in the real world, season vary depending on where you live, how close you are to the poles, whether you are North or South of the Equator, what elevation you are at, etc.
Just because it doesn’t get cold or snow in October where you live, it doesn’t mean it never snows in October in other locations around the planet. The calendar does not show months in the game- it shows seasons. So what you are looking at as August may actually be September or October or May.
May is late Autumn in Australia, for example. While here in the Mid-Atlantic US- May is late Spring.
Stop thinking in months and start reading the calendar in seasons that show when to plant various crops.
That makes no sense at all. Why is the season bar split into 12 cells then if it’s not about months? It is confusing and they should leave a continuous bar then…
The start of the seasonal bar is Spring, not Winter.
As for heat waves in April and blizzards in October, clearly someone’s never heard of New England weather.

Think of the year as starting in March and you’ll be able to wrap your head around the seasons. 
I think the seasons you see are not accurate with the seasons bar at the top. It’s off by a bar. The bar at the beginning should be placed at the end. The snow starts melting and it’s spring when the moving line starts over, that’s technically represented by the 2nd block in the seasons bar as you can see half snow, half green trees. That, to me, represents the melting snow.
Hopefully the game devs see this reply. All they have to do is put the first block and move it to the end and what happens while playing will match the bar at the top.
If you want to get technical. Winter is actually the first season of each year, not the last. First day of winter is a week before Christmas toward the end of the December. So most of the winter season is technically January through April. If the devs wanted the seasons bar at the top to truly be accurate, move the last two blocks to the beginning.
Climate change
If you want to get technical, it depends where on Earth you are as to when your seasons are. Those south of the Equator have Winter in June-August, like Australia. 
just give us the option have a solid season’s bar without the month division…how hard would that be?
