Ok, I got my Inquisitor nearly finished (it’s damn quick with this class, you don’t need a lot of points to make it work).
And I was wondering which second class to choose (already have a tactician so that’s a no go).
For now I can’t choose between purifier (with demo) or infiltrator (with nightblade).
Which one might be the most fun to play ? (mostly campaign maybe a bit of crucible to test it but not much).
I do not have a lot of high end stuff and I don’t really want to farm for it.
Could some of you give me clues on the various gameplay of purifier or infiltrator (or other inquisitor builds that you found fun to play) ?
Purifier is great for fire and lightning damage, infiltrator for cold and pierce. Both are really excellent, two of the strongest classes in my opinion. Purifier really shines at range in my experience while infiltrator does best at close combat, but either one can fill either role.
The obvious choices are Deceiver(Inquisitor + Occultist) and Vindicator(Inquisitor + Shaman) because those are the only Inquisitor based classes that make good pet builds. You could try Apostate (Inquisitor + Necromancer) but they Necro pets don’t really synergize with Inquisitor as well.
Anything works with Inquisitor. Infiltrator/Purifier/Tactician are the strongest ones probably. Infiltrator and Purifier got myriad of build options too.
And yes, NERF THOSE DAMN RUNES AND THAT DAMN AURA OF CENSURE!
But please add Inquisitor support to Belgothian set.
I’d probably nerf post softcap seal before censure.
Belgo infil is shit atm, add inq support to belgo
@OP you need to decide what playstyle you want with your char. We can’t just suggest things without knowing what you wanna play, because unless you have a lot of items already, purifier and infil both play very differently.
You can literally make anything with inquis + other class. The biggest question you should ask yourself, is what do you even think you want to do? the options are many.
I really like melee gameplay and I really really like the nightblade gameplay.
Which I find really fun to play, my only problem with nightblade was always his squishiness.
Maybe the inquisitor can fix that.
On the other hand, ultimate gameplay seems to be easier for AOE casters (no need to kill monsters one by one going melee).
I’ve yet to make a good caster, so I think I’ll go for purifier then. I’ll try inquisitor another day.
Wait. Infiltrator is actually better caster because it naturally supports cold runes. Purifier is more for ranged. Can be a caster but will be more item dependent than infil.
