Using said set + Fevered Rage to allow more crits. And what I’ve noticed is this:
Set badly needs more health, getting this up to 18K was a constant pain in the rear.
Armour is lacklustre for a set that’s designed around using Fevered Rage, contrast with the mythical Epic Acid Retal set Amnesty which allows you to get 4K+ armour with ease.
And that +5% heal to Blood Dreeg might as well not be on the set, it’s useless without speccing into more health regen stuff. And this set badly needs more sustain. Suggest replacing 5% heal with a chunk of health regen.
Shield bonuses wise it’s also lacking and suggests you need Solider mastery badly to improve it’s ability to block.
And of course the other thing it’s badly needing is physical to acid conversion. Something that’s on basically every other acid weapon/shield etc, but this set lacks completely. Doesn’t need to be much of course either.
Last thing - cast/attack speed being left off the set is just frankly stupid. It needs both because it can go as a melee or a caster and a mere +10% to both wont make the set OP.
Oh and I fully expect the Awakened Amnesty set to wipe the floor with Sentinel of the Three. Enough that this set becomes a forgotten one in comparison. And with the coming nerfs to T2 retal devotions, frankly this set could do with some love to prevent it backsliding further.
Try swapping out your gloves for Touch of the Grove. Then fix what ya need. Personally have no issues with life total using the set on a shieldbreaker.
As for block I believe I took shield maiden and am using absolution. Block seems good.
Armor seems about right baseline compared to mine. Builder helps a lot and the above blocking.
Edit: appears you have all those above things. Demolitionist just more defensive with better scaling health, maybe? If I attempt to use memory here, I think I have more dmg with all procs up but I bet you clear way quicker with fevered rage. You also have like 300 more oa then I do but I think I sit around 3k+ da base.
As for conversion, I don’t know. I rely on the skill conversion mods to do the work. Converted fire to acid using path of the 3 and murmur’s belt.
My build is CD based so can’t comment on attack speed.
Skills are blackwater for rr shred, canister retal with poison conduit and infernal mask. Vire’s obviously and the flame breath from the hat which hits pretty hard.
Nothing was more satisfying than chain casting 6 canister bombs on shit and watching it implode. Rare, most times it 2. But those occasional 3+ chains are so sick.
I did, but Judgement’s DA shred helps massively with scoring crits So I can’t really drop it for AoM, especially given the skill points required for DEE to make it effective.
Given what Zantai’s implied, effectively every epic item can be awakened in FoA. Which is going to be insane for build variety. The only ones I suspect aren’t are possibly faction epics and definitely dungeon MI’s since they already have legendary versions.
And I model the Awakened Amnesty set is going to be over powered at first, making for a return of Acid Retal spam AoM builds to the forefront. Until Zantai’s nerf hammer of doom strikes it down
