Right now the default is 200 and I assume most people don’t change it. Which means that all games in the lobby are set to 1-200 and players have to check explicitly each game in order to figure out the level of the players that are already in. If the default level range was set to 10, one could just join quickly any game that suits their level.
Actually I believe that with this default level range and the right server filters (see my previous post about this) we could easily have a “quick join” feature that makes you join a random game from the list. It might get more people involved with multiplayer. Right now the process of finding a suitable multiplayer game is quite tedious and I usually give up quickly.
