I started a new settlement after getting the hang of the game and tried to see if there was a character limit, so I named it, How long can you make this, with a lot of question marks and it let me make it. Then like an hour later I tried to save there were no autosaves and it wouldn’t let me make a new save file. The settlement name was also cut off to be: how long can you ma.
I asume the save file will get the same name as the save file and thus some characters can not be used in the system, these characters are such as:
