Settlers abandoned me with no clear reason why? Is beer so important to some ;D (obvious alcoholic seems)

So why would these two leave the village?? Everything is at 100! Except beer lol, someone needs some serious help

Ups forgot to post this as I posted this report lol

ALso this happened after a like year of the first one. Now they don’t like that they have to pay taxes or what?

They were your soldiers and they left because you didn’t pay them. Make sure you don’t run out of money.

Soldiers will desert if you don’t pay them. In fairness the UI notifications don’t make this clear at all, that probably needs fixing, but not a bug.

Yeah I just noticed those all where in fact soldier so makes sense I guess

Its strange though that I had money like you can see in the upper right corner but it’s just starting to go negative but not yet negative but I might have had it really low at that point but I raised money from the Markets safe but I guess I was too late

EDIT: At least in the second pic the first one was just me on me

Yeah, I’m not sure how exactly it is calculated, possibly you earned that money after they’d left. Anyway, keep about 1k gold available and you won’t run into the issue again.

In the second screenshot, taxes had just been collected. So the soldiers likely hoofed it before the tax collection added gold to the global supply. They’re already gone, so the gold that arrived seconds later can’t be used to try to bribe them to come back.

They’ll be back- as Raiders, lol.

It takes literally a moment when you don’t pay attention. Just happened to me, 5 minutes after I bought 3k gold worth of armors - still swearing :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s soldiers as pointed out. Be careful to not empty your treasury. Moving your vault can also have this unintended consequence if you have all your gold there.
