Might be an unpopular opinion, or people used to them so much, they might not care but i think these are one of those things that you don’t know you needed.
Sound effects are one of the more important aspects of combat feedback and helps with combat feel.
Assuming recording sound effects is still possible (we had new Sunder and Loot drop sounds) these 2 skills could use a beefier, different slash/smack sounds on hit. Why do they “need” it you might ask?
- A lot of builds also use SS while already in melee, looks and sounds exactly same with normal attacks, can be a bit confusing whether or not it go off → better feedback, more satisfying skill
- Blade Arc could use some “cleaving” sound, perhaps a modified version of default attack sounds for better feel. If it’s not necessary you think, then at least the Cooldown version should have a more powerful, distinct sound. Reason is, some builds use it as a Nuke (especially bleed builds) on top of normal basic attacks and i assure you, it’s really hard to tell if it go out or not, kinda forcing myself to look at skill bar for it.
