Can we get the Shadowflame WPS to be enabled on 1H ranged? Or will it make Darkblaze or Oathbreaker overpowered instead?
I ask this because the only 2h chaos rifle that have attack speed is the Harbinger one and to some extend green caster rifle with attack speed suffix.
I would assume so. Besides, it’s not exclusive for chaos only, is it? Fire builds could make use of it as well. I also asked some months ago for moving the aether → chaos conversion somewhere else, because judging by skill bonuses this item has “Dreadscorcher aether FS sorc” written all over it. Obviously, this never happened, so it’s pretty much Harbinger / Desolator (and maybe some others) shoulder.
Yes fire build can utilize it as well and Desolator is also a nice addition on fire build, though in the fire build the conversion lost its value.
I also agree with it being a FS sorc item though not necessarily only aether, like this FS Sorc which previously was a Purifier, changing to sorc grant it 400 OA, 1k extra health, and 5k fire damage at the cost of seal and AoC.
Personally while I agree there’s a strong bias towards a Sorc, I just don’t see any appeal in making a Sorc over Pyromancer if it’s chaos as Harbinger set is a thing. As for Fire I don’t see how getting ~70-80 flat fire with conversions is a good deal either compared to getting RR that is easy to apply. If Purifier somehow doesn’t suits one then Shieldbreaker looks like the most reasonable 2nd option.
Cosmic Torrent looks like the most suitable gun to make the best use out of Darkflame Mantle, but it’s aether base (good luck converting 100% aether to chaos plus some fire at least too) and it’s stats look like crap as well.
