Should Mageslayer set get some buffs for melee?

Seeing as my previous idea about adding some attack speed to Mythical Temporal Tempest got kinda ignored, I’m going to try it again from another angle: Do other players think that Mageslayer set should get some buffs for melee? Last changes are from Version 1.1.9.6, currently most builds with this set are casters using Flames of Ignaffar/Olexra Flash Freeze/ Trozan etc. with rare DW melee builds such as cold ABB spam Spellbreakers. Some ideas how this set can be improved for melee:

  1. Increase attack speed on the gloves or
  2. Add attack speed modifier to Nightblade’s Pneumatic Burst or
  3. Add some modifiers (flat elemental damage/chance tp proc/more targets) to Nightblade’s WPS skills.
What are your thoughts on this?

i’d start by asking why it should be a melee set at all to begin with  - “playing devil’s advocate” and all that

i would guess there probably is a relatively simple, and intended, reason for that, it’s not a melee AA wps set

This set already has attack speed on the gloves and more armor than caster gear, so it can be played as melee, adding 5-10% more attack speed or something like piercing to elemental conversion for Nightblade’s flat damage will not make it OP.

you’re not just asking for speed, you’re asking for melee modifiers, hence the question, “why should it be changed”
it seems kinda forced, it’s a caster set :man_shrugging: (base on skill use not armour rating )
