How about a transmuter for Sigil of Consumption that vastly increases the size, but makes it cast at the player’s feet. Increase the cooldown and/or reduce the damage/duration to balance.
Would make the skill a lot more melee friendly to use. When moving from target to target, enemies simply run out it when they chase you due to its small size. By placing it at the player’s feet, it becomes an undesirable option for ranged.
