So I decided to reset my account and start from scrach,I’m curious if I need to complete all the hidden quests from normal and elite also to get the points?I skiped those on my first char and just used the forgoten gods unlocks on the rest,but with this reset I wanna focus on the first char.
Yes, each new character has to get the skill points again unless you used merit tokesn to skip difficulties.

Dang,was afraid of that,was hoping i could just use the merit on the same char after naturaly unlocking ultimate,anyways thanks
once you have entered difficulty, merit can not be applied. afaik

Yes, that’s correct. Once a character is in Elite or Ultimate the merit token won’t apply; it simply won’t be used and will stay in your inventory bag.
