Skyfire Grenado is weak/Mortar Trap is slow

Skyfire Grenado is very weak modifier its scaling is bad. It adds 56 energy cost more than High Impact by 2 yet gives very little damage increase, I don’t see why I would bother put more than 1 point in this skill. Let’s see how Skyfire Grenado impacts Grenado as a whole,

Grenado (16)
Average physical damage 932.5
308 pierce damage
1240.5 average damage (counted as base damage)

High Impact (12)
408 fire damage (roughly +33% of base Grenado damage)
75% chance of +250% physical damage or average of +187.5% physical damage
+50% crit damage

Skyfire Grenado (12)
156 electrocute damage (roughly +12.5% of base Grenado damage)
163 lightning damage (roughly +13% of base Grenado damage)
50% fire damage converted to lightning damage…
So it adds 25.5% of based Grenado damage and 50% converted fire damage from High Impact…
Conversion doesn’t directly adds any damage just change half of fire damage from High Impact to lightning.
All of above considered yet Skyfire Grenado still not as good as what High Impact contribute to Grenado, despite it being a hinger rank modifier.
If I want lightning Grenado, why would I invest another 11 point in Skyfire Grenado just to get more 228 average damage or (+18% of base Grenado damage) when 1 point adds about (7.5% of base Grenado damage) :confused:

Mortar Trap
Why is it has delay before shooting, it’s like 2 secs before it can fires off, compare to Storm Totem which has about 0.5 second delay. Mortar Trap need to start shooting faster.

Please reduces delay of Mortar Trap’s first firing. :slight_smile:

Edit : I watch my Mortar Trap bug video(B31 before hotfix) and it somehow doesn’t have this long delay before start shooting, perharps this is the result of fixing Mortar Trap bug with pet attack command, if so please fix this.

And if you include High Impact (justified because it’s maxed on any serious grenadier build) into baseline it’s even worse.

Yeah Skyfire Grenado isn’t great. Was messing around with my primal strike elementalist and usually use grenado, moved some points around i got about 4000 more damage going from 4/6/11 to 8/12/1.

Really would like to see this skill changed to benefit lightning builds better than splitting fire into lightning. The scaling isn’t good either
