Are they worth pursuing when compared to the usual Legendary/MI combinations I see posted?
I’m finding some good pieces as I level through Ultimate and just wondering if many of you have checked this out?
They are a gateway for farming the endgame legendary sets and some of them have pretty great items in them.
My favourite is probably Bloodreaper’s Mark medal with ADCTH, OA, energy regen, bleed resist and pierce/bleed damage.
Yup have one of those. Do you combine it with other pieces of the set?
Not really, but that’s because i already have the legendary sets (well, most of them).
So I haven’t even really farmed much but I’ve leveled half dozen or so classes to 85. During that process I’ve found lots of legendaries and many of these work in multiple builds. There’s probably no point in hanging onto Epic level set stuff unless the specific pieces are good on their own, would that be correct?
In the builds I check out from these forums I see leg sets and green MIs. Are people using the blue stuff?
A bunch of my builds use epic items at level 85. Specially after the buff a lot of epic items got around two updates ago.
Yeah, it’s a good idea to keep set items if they are good on their own.

So, look for the items but the sets aren’t worth it compared to legendaries then? Stash space being limited as it is…
A) You can increase Stash Space in a variety of ways.
B) Some Epic Sets are amazing. Paragon, for example. There’s a couple jewelry sets that are very handy. And some of the low level sets make leveling vastly easier, notably things like the Explorer’s Set, Maiven’s Set, and the Herald’s Set.
So, if the set is good, keep it. If you start running out of space, then mules, or a stash space increasing tool, or Transfer.GST manipulation, are all options to remedy that for you without any cheating.
i have another question about item sets: is there a web site about item drop rate and bosses to farm for it ?
i’m looking for markovian and iskandra sets i always find same items like 4 times aldanaar’s vanity drop. i’ve only iskandra’s text and that item dropped 3 times. i’m playing on ultimate and farming easily except nemesis’. i want to hear what veteran players know about farming and item drop
The only things that drop specifically from certain monsters/areas are the Green items called Monster Infrequents. While those can be a specific part of a build…There’s nowhere special to farm Blues and Purples.
Some people choose to farm the Key Dungeon(s), some people choose The Hidden Path, Nemesis Troves, or Dynamite Troves. All of those are an option, as is just going through any area of the game you enjoy to farm it.
Personally, I choose to farm for MIs, specifically, usually Sect Legguards and Pulsing Shards lately, and hope something else good drops along the way.
