So is it jsut me or is kymons chosen way stronger than death's vigil?

as far as actual fighting capability goes

I’ve found that the only remotely dangerous thing deaths vigil has are those deathguard guys that summon the skeletal knights/revenants. Even their boss guy in fort haron is a cakewalk with every character I’ve done.

Kymon’s, on the other hand, has those damned stormcallers stunning you all the time and those firemaidens can do a surprising amount of burst damage, and even their base guys hit decently hard when there’s a ton of them. And I’ve had more than a few chars die to their fort haron boss. That girl’s a regular wrecking ball.

Now I have yet to reach nemesis with either of them, so I don’t know if that would change anything, but death’s vigil really seems like they need a boost.

Watching the AI fight each other… Kymon’s seems to be stronger in individual combat one on one, but Death’s Vigil with all their summons win more fights because the Kymon’s AI targets the minions, and then between the minions and the casters Kymon’s die first.

Versus player… Yeah. Kymon’s is stronger. You just have to kill the death’s vigil casters/summoners really quickly and you blaze through them. As for nemesi, Zhantarim is easy if you’re ranged but can burst you down when you’re melee, and summons SO MANY THINGS. Iron Maiden is terrifying unless you have maxed stun resist, and then she’s kinda like mini-fabius.

(I’ve only encountered the nemesi in Crucible, so take my observations with a grain of salt.)

I find them both the same. Death’s Vigil slows you down and reduces your health while dealing life reduction damage and Kymon’s Chosen throws shit at you and stuns you constantly.

Both are obnoxious in their own way. Kymon’s Nemesis can stun the crap out of you and Death’s Vigil Nemesis can debuff you and one shot you with a well placed vitality shotgun.

So pick your poison.

I imagine that Kymon’s is more difficult for casters/ranged and Death’s Vigil is more difficult for melee… I sided with Vigil on my tank char and Kymon’s on a melee char, so by that logic I played directly into their strengths and everything was easy.

Hashtag noob mistakes.

Nemeses. The plural of nemesis is nemeses.

Casanova Frankenstein approves.

Thank you. Every post I struggled with what the plural was.

is nemesis’ also valid?

No. An apostrophe denotes either possession or a contraction, nothing else.

I like Kymon´s Chosen faction. They reminds me Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout series. So they must be stronger

it’s funny because it was considered the other way around a few patches ago, it’s the way balance goes in one side then another i guess. personally i find theme quite on par, but what bothers me is they don’t seem to have champions :frowning:

Both Kymon and Death V boss in Archon tomb are easy. True ,Kymon minions are stronger. Iron Maiden is not that hard, i just put some bleed ress rings ( that blade arc of hers can hurt a lot ). But personaly , i hate siding with Kymon, only reason for that is all the lies being holy and stuff , but at the end they worship something almost like Chton .

Btw does Kymon offer more quests then the Order?

it seems to me that the storyline of quests of KC is longer than the Order of DV one.

The number of quests is the same, but of course they have different target points.

DV / KC
Retrieve Malkaadars remains / Collect 3 Seal’s
Collect 3 Seal’s / Slay Bolvar
Slay Noveria / Slay Ravok
Retrieve Ashes / Retrieve Ashes
Assist in Ritual / Slay Bane’Garok
Search for Uroboruuk / Search for Eye of Korvak

What quests lie for the two factions in the expansion, or if there even will be quests for them, only the dev’s know right now.
