I agree with you, but at the time stop being a silly cunt. You don’t need to post 4 times or w/e in the patch note thread and make this…we get it you don’t like cadence.

Too bad Forcewave is a rank 1 skill that is a lot better for leveling.
Once they stop ignoring the true problem with Cadence, which is it’s mechanics, not it’s damage, then I’ll stop bringing it up…

I’m just gonna say what I said on another thread:
The mechanics are ok as it is, but I’m pretty sure that Cadence would work better if it were like this:
-Deadly Momentum applyed higher bonuses than it currently does
-Deadly Momentum applyed these bonuses as soo as you hit an enemie, rather than after the 3rd strike
-Deadly Momentum is learned at 32/50 instead of 40/50
-The 3rd Cadence hit moved to be the on the 5th hit or so instead
-Maybe reduce the damage of the Cadence hit a bit for balance, due to the bonuses from Deadly Momentum
That way, the skill will work well with WPS skills and still keep it’s origina mechanic intact, while still doing increased damage per hit more constantly.
Honestly, I think that if Cadence was allowed to proc a WPS skill on that third hit it would be fine, the fact it full locks you out of the WPS is why it is so bad. You could afford to tone down the damage on the 3rd hit a bit to compensate for it doing the increased damage. Yes it does make your damage really REALLY spiky, and makes the potential dph a very large variable depending on if a WPS skill triggers or not (With the triggered ones being able to turn insanely powerful, Cadence Execution anyone?), but it would help make the skill a LOT more consistent and less anti-synergistic. (The very fact Cadence exist in the same mastery tree as a class who has an innate 50% WPS REALLY emphasizes it’s issues).
And you could either choose to allow the Cadence hit to be applied through the modifier on the WPS, or not, depending on how powerful Crate thinks it is. Regardless, the major issue Cadence has is the fact it full locks you out of your WPS procs 1/3rd of the time, on a class that innately has 50%, and two of it’s combos bringing that to 75 or 130% (Assuming you maxed all your WPS procs for some dumb reason, and don’t just pick/chose the better ones to combo together up until 100%).
Cadence was once op and then its damage got nerfed. It only went to trash tier after the crit damage change. So they make it worth enough mechanics is not really the problem.

Probably not going to happen, execution and cadence together would deal 250% x 316% = 7.9 times your weapon damage, for both hands.
That would make it so OP in terms of direct damage and also as a crazy DoT applier.
