I always felt a bit annoyed that some of these constellations with 5+ stars don’t have any type of Celestial Power on them, so I’d like to share some ideas for Celestial Powers for two constellations that I came up while playing:
Shield Maiden Constellation Skill Idea
Rebuke: Everytime you block, there is a chance that huge shield of light would generate from you and quickly move towards the nearest enemy that attacked you, dealing AoE damage to anyone nearby, with a chance of stunning them for few secs.
Blades of Nadaan Skill Idea
Phanton Edge: Everytime you attack with the skill it’s assigned, there is a chance that it will generate an energy sword that will travel spinning horizontally foward and fly back at you, like a bomerang. Anyone hit will receive Pierce Damage and Bleed DoT.
Yeah, these skill ideas are based on two PoE skills, and it would be awesome if Crate added these skills to these consellations on a future update, or if some modders that plan on messing around with Devotion could do it.
I don’t know if we need another block proc, but a celestial power for each of the four weapon constellations would certainly make them more attractive. Other than the increased pierce conversion in blades, the sword/mace/axe/ranged constellations are pretty bad. I literally have never used any of them, and with the exception of a melee pierce build i most likely never will in their current form. Giving them each a unique proc instead of pigeonholing them into specific damage types would be a much better option.
Wouldn’t say no to procs for the others, or a block proc on shield maiden (although I kinda think block procs in general need a little re-visitation, the % chances are the same now as they were when it was much much easier to get perfect 100/100 block)
