Some Conduits could use spicing up

Well, they got dropped cause the cc res reduction they used to give was baked into the skill itself. At max level BT gives -35 % trap res and at cap it gives -45%, so that’s already more usable than it used to be.

And while giving the Conduit more cc res reduction to make it more usable would be nice, it also feels like an…overbuff. Cause now you have a single item that gives you the cc res reduction that previously you would have needed a full 4pc set to get.

I think fundamentally OFF and BT just need a major adjustment. Cause they absolutely do get things done in horde clearing situations, they just turn off against bosses and nemeses. I think a good way to approach them would be to turn them into something akin to Mirror or Mark of Torment in terms of uptime:downtime ratio. Make their cooldown longer so we can’t potentially just perma cc stuff, and up the duration against bosses so that for like 2 seconds, we get a breather from damage and a powerful debuff to pump out a lot of damage. Like if you were to concentrate CoF’s over-time cumulative effect into just 2 seconds. More powerful debuff, for a short while.

I agree, I hate full immunties. Monsters already have freeze resist to reduce spell’s efficacy, any more is not needed. I don’t think any monster should have more than 100-110% freeze resist. This way you can make freeze work with some investment, albeit at a greatly reduced efficacy.

reaching hardcap on aether/phys OFF probably wont be easy itemization wise, and even if you did there’s probably both some dmg/conversion issues , aside from the basic build cost/“opportunity” of diverting so many resources and points into something that will be 5% effective for 20RR
seems kinda fair it then could get mageslayer levels 10? bonus cc shred, since the set then confers actual dmg, overall utility/build inclusion etc on top

with NB now having native vit shred not so sure how/what vit trap deserves/if needs by itself tho

Can the cold hellhound one get physical to cold conversion as well? Not sure why it never had that, the hounds base damage is half physical after all.

Yeah, no. Leave my bleed War cry for onslaught stacks, don’t even think of touching it, nu-uh

I didn’t say “remove the bleed” did I?

I doubt it will see more use. Nature’s Call Regalia is more phys-oriented and amulet slot has fierce competition. Lost Souls amulet adds flat phys to Hellhound.

I could see it work for cold-based conjurer with Bysmiel’s Grasp, but Heart of the Mountain is hard to pass up.
