I’m really enjoying this game but there are a few frustrations so far (I’m into level 47 with my conjurer, just finished normal mode).
Don’t make important items like recipes sellable. I’ve lost quite a few recipes (like skeleton key) by going to a vendor, selling items and then right clicking recipes to learn them at the same time. I sold them, and didn’t understand I did before logging off. And they were gone. Or get rid of the right click button sell function?
Can quest items be made to drop several times if lost? Some quest items like the key to Salazars dungeon only seem to drop once. I lost it and farmed the cultists once a again but a new one did not drop, so I can’t get in. I want to farm blood of C’hton, but I don’t see any drops in the Bastion of Chaos.
Perhaps also quest markers on the world map? To draw a big audience, especially in multiplayer, finishing quests etc. might just be made a bit easier.
Lesson learnt - always right click on a recipe as soon as you pick it up. If you haven’t learned it yet you will, if you already know it it will tell you so you can then sell it.
Additional keys to get into Salazar’s lair or Steps of Torment lower levels can be made via the blacksmith after you’ve used the initial key/s and once you know the recipe.
No, world map quest markers will not happen. Has been suggested many times, but devs don’t want a “hold my hand” game where you can just head straight for a quest. Markers on the mini map give you enough of a clue to find them.
It’s just that some things could be simplify to help newbs like me not make this mistake and get into the game quicker.
However, I managed to get around the issue by find a vendor selling the skeleton key recipe by searching the web instead.
Well now I cant get into Salazar’s lair, but does the blood of c’thon (to make skeleton keys) drop in the BOC on normal?
