Clairvoyant Doom Bolt Cabalist

Still not good at AOE with the increased target area of Doom Bolt. But I think I’m ok with it, considering it’s a Doom Bolt build.

Is the single target damage good enough for me? I can’t say it’s bad. Sometimes it takes more bolts to kill a primary target like a Gargoyle than I expect though. Anyway, I do hope the CD refresh chance could be a little higher (like 33%?). During fights I press the Doom Bolt key as fast as I can, but it doesn’t response very often, not very cool~~
Or maybe give Doom Bolt some Vitality Decay damage with the set bonus, like the existing ones on Reap Spirit, making it a totally Aether-Vitality (Decay) combined build. Then Rattosh could be a reasonable choice to go for. As a terminal Aether devotion Rattosh is usually out of the plan for most pure Aether builds.

The role of Reap Spirit in this build is kind of boring currently. It is a source of health leeching though. I’m not saying, give it RR to make it just the same as Diviner set. I remember there is going to be an amulet in DLC3, which makes the wraiths scale with character’s stats. I hope this amulet could be the last piece of this build, better with also a Cold to Aether conversion.

Think about this: In old versions, the main role of Clairvoyant set is granting you enough mana regen to support an Aether Ray build. But nowadays mana is more and more not an issue in most cases anymore, which is good, ofc. But for Clairvoyant, the huge amount of mana and mana regen as a resource has turned to nothing. What’s the point of having a mana bar with more than 6000 mana that does not change at all like a brick?
I’m wondering, is it possible to have new modifiers that can make use of this huge mana resources in DLC, like ''Doom Bolt consumes a part of your current mana to deal more damage". Just saying. Maybe I played too much LE recently
