Sooo...Infernal knight anybody?

When i did watch the new sets for the first time i noticed (at least this was my impression) that IK was the worse in the midst.

Now watching it more carefully…i still think it, BUT of course i could be wrong and that is actually what i hope.
What it seems not great to me is that this set buffs typical “support” skills (cocktail and mines) used as debuffs, also some of those boni don’t seem that good.

2 pieces 6% hp (good) + reduced burn duration (meh)

I could think about a build which uses this set and its skill buffs as utilities to put those points somwhere else, maybe a fire/chaos gunslinger? a DW saboteur?

Also : anybody tested the final granted active skill “call forth the inferno”?

I was just curious about how players was thinkin to build around it.

edit : i actually found a guy on youtube who built a commando sword and board around it…

The set lacks defense, even with the few %phys resist here and there.

And that’s all it lacks. Blackwater Cocktail is (IMHO) the strongest spell in the game by far. The offensive output of this set is ridiculous. A little bit backloaded, but ridiculous nonetheless.

The set is solid and looks stylish.

Here is some action in Crucible.

The 4p skill should be ~5k (i think) dps increase at ~1500% fire/burn, not counting resistances.

i see : ty for feedback. It seems it is quite versatile as well allowing to build from casters to melee builds.

I got really lucky today and found the helm blueprint so I now have this set complete. But I’m not sure what to do with it. Go commando and use that infernal brimstone I have? Sorcerer and just spam BWC? This set seems to be suited for both. Will have to ponder this a bit.

I tried using the set with my BWC commando from way back. I changed a few things here and there. Over-all I’m quite impressed.

Even with relatively low OA - 2362 (Chance to crit Fabius is 19.8%), I was still managing some 40,000 Burn crits. Crit damage modifier was at 49%.

With a better OA focused build and higher +% Crit damage I can see a burn focused build being viable. It’s easy to stack burn (Explosive Strike, BWC, Thermite Mine, Meteor Shower, Fissure). In that build I had all of the above, I could have gone a step further and used “Herald of the Blazing Ends” or “Empowered Blessed Torch” for further stacking but I tend to lean towards Grim Fate for most of my builds.

Dandy pretty much summed up the set. It lacks defense and that’s it. It’s a light armor set after all. Resistance-wise it gives a healthy boost to Chaos, Aether, Poison, Elemental and around 8-10% Physical.

Hey there ty for replying on youtube, i will check the build. Cheers

I’m using this set on my pyromancer to a great effect.
This character was a 2h hellborne rifle fire strike build that turned into a melee 2h infernal brimstone character.
I can tell you that the melee version is much superior with this set.

Well damn, thats disappointing. I was really hoping to grab one before ultimate. If anyone has a spare they would like trade then please let me know here. I got two devil tongue pistols, a devils hauberk, stonefist rebuke, the witching hour, fiends resolve, and two pieces of the justicar set.
