I checked the build compendium, but it has no pistol/rifle builds there.
Can someone link me to a build with pistols or rifle?

there are but you have to dig a bit through older builds

  • farmable krieg set

  • craftable ring
  • not many buttons
  • a lot of racial damage
  • aether firestrike
  • kriegs set that gives flat rr
  • rr: 35 +40 + 25 + 10 = 110 rr which isnt bad or particularly good

checklist:
– farm/trade krieg set
– farm/trade dreadscorcher
– farm/trade blueprints
– farm/trade belt
– farm/trade ring
– farm/trade necklace
– build relic
– craft items

You can’t use devastation with a gun, I’ll tinker with it and see if I can improve it a bit

Couple changes i’d make:

  • I’d swap out the weapon augment for either Potent’s Bysmiel’s Shroud or Potent Ravager’s Rage depending on whether you want extra OA or Vitality resistance.

  • Accessory augments could also either go to Irrah’s Soulfire or Arcane Heart Powder. You can squeeze out a lot of extra damage with a Bysmiel’s Shroud whilst maintaining decent OA/DA with 2 Soulfires and an Arcane Powder here (decent OA is factoring in DA shred on Flashbang).

  • You can’t use Devastation with a gun.

Otherwise, I like the look of it overall, definitely a good start.

a yeah i forgot. Well my goal was to make a very easy to build and powerful build at the same time. im sure you guys can improve it.

yes i see. I also tried to not use the augments from the new content yet so he has a easier time. All about ease this one.

  • i updated the link and also threw in more speed so attackspeed at 1.84 now which could be higher but yeah it works like this. I also threw living armor on the shoulder i think you get more out of it than spellscorched plating

Here’s my take on it. DA and resists are a bit thin, but it should be stronger I think.

ill post it under my one and call it offensive version. I really like phoenix myself. Combined with blast shield and diamond really takes the edge off.

yeah it will blast things to bits just be a bit careful where you walk and stand, use the new movement skill called displacement(forgotten gods) or any movement skill i saw in the second version one is added already because you dont have any yet. If you have questions of how to get these items let me know. Also the second version is a bit more glassy but does more damage and maxes out attackspeed with dying god and has more critt damage and overal damage. Feel free to do something yourself, see what you like best.

where does this build get its -%Xresist? i fail to see any and afaik X reduced resistances do not stack, so the 3 instances of it should not work together, isn’t it true?

Edit: i found -10% on the eternal haunt skill and -8% on weapon component and that’s it…

where would you get -%x res for an aether build?

i have no idea, i am a new player. I just like very much the build concept, but i remember reading everywhere how important is RR.

I just wonder how viable this build would be with so little RR.

On another note, how would you level it? Are there any target farmable items to use before getting the endgame gear?

I think i would really enjoy a 2h ranged build (especially that would hit hard, feeling like a sniper), but i can’t find any beginner friendly ones that would be up to date.

its not really little rr, its nothing special buts its ok rr. -%x -point rr and - %rr is what stacks indeed so you got that right. But there is no -%x for this build available.

some builds like my blademaster doesnt get over 100% rr total and is totally fine

I got the whole Krieg set now and the weapon. But where can I get the rings, amulett and medal?
Is it just a random recipe drop?

random recipe or random loot. The build should be workable without them if you use faction/blue replacements.

I think Sorc and Mage Hunter can be interesting with some pass through and ranged Arcanist builds are unexplored :thinking:
