Spear of the Heavens - Post your opinions?

Well, someone needs to do the advertising and who better than yours truly :stuck_out_tongue:

I could’ve easily posted a screenshot to show how well Aether Lightning synergy works now, but since i did spend hours writing a guide i felt linking it was much easier.

I agree with your points regarding aether requiring more support i am just saying that even with the current support end-game farmers can be made.

This axe you speak of will only slow down my build

I did consider if cleaver will be better for Aether Cadence but nothing beats Mindwarp there, maybe i can try to use a cleaver on a battlemage since we already have plenty of physical to aether conversion there. (if i bother to farm it that is)

Nice idea.

Mogdrogen is perfect, if you play solo - than you get chance to reduction enemy da, flat bleed damage, % bleed damage and total speed; if you play with pets - they get % oa and % total speed, both effects extremely pleasant and useful.

I know Mogdrogen is good, i just have limited experience with bleed builds to comment on it.
But thanks for your input regarding Howl, i really would like more diversity added for bleed builds though (cough Buff Blood pox cough)

I will never take it or the constellation at all, if I’m going to go 20 to Primordial then I am going to take tree of life everytime.
You can get 5% OA and 10% Crit damage for less points spent on Ulzuin’s Torch

I’d say buff damage a little, keep activation as it is, remove the cooldown.

Spear of Heavens is great- it’s just way too expensive for how powerful it is. I always get up to it, use it for a while, remember it’s meh, and take the points back.

Since it is SINGLE TARGET it needs some love (it says 2.4 meter but it seems smaller, i never see it hit multiple targets). The other big devotions are AOE, in this case the cost is too much.

I like Spear, but I do think it could have a faintly lower cooldown, maybe even a .3.

It really doesn’t need much more power though, it has fairly high weapon damage and solid base damage for a devotion proc, especially one on as low a CD as it is. Fact is if you have some fair ADCtH you can actually heal more from the spear hit than the attack that triggered it took from you.

Umm, did you see what zero CD SoTH did when Time Dilation is a activated (well before they fixed TD)

Yes, and it wasn’t anything impressive. TD was broken for a lot of things (and still kind of is), but SotH wasn’t one of them.

Okay then maybe it’s just me. But in its current state it’s basically like a more powerful Belgothian’s carnage right?

As constellations are an extra layer of character customization, I find it nice that it sometimes does not align with obvious builds.

That said, nearly single target stunning on getting hit is a poor choice on a T3 constellation. I get it that there might be lore reasons but we need something we can work around and single target stunning isn’t such a thing.

This.

Same for Light of Empyrion’s Armor Reduction and chance to confuse (Not to mention the low activation chance and long CD)
