Start fresh or play old chars (Crucible + AoM just added)?

I have a few sub level 50 chars I was able to recover after a double drive melt down (main Windows OS + backup drive). My questions are:

1 - I just purchased Crucible and AoM so should I start fresh chars or continue from those early level chars?

2 - Were there major changes to the masteries and devotions with the release of AoM? I believe my backups are from patch 1.0.0.4 or 1.0.0.5. Just trying to understand the changes the builds would have encountered.

Build Types from the recovered chars:
Sabotuer
Spell Breaker
Warlock
BWC Sorceress (black water cocktail I think)
Spell Breaker
Conjurer
Pyromancer
WitchHunter
Elementalist
Trickster

If the devs are watching please consider building optimized native Linux game clients for the core game and its expansions (I know forgotten gods is on the way). I really hate switching between Windows and Linux (Manjaro) and I switch to Windows just to game with my son. I don’t use WINE or PlayOnLinux as I would prefer to run apps at full speed without emulation or translation layers. I posted a detailed request in the general forum in regard to native Linux clients back in Feb. of this year. You got the bucks now lets rock the TUX.

For those who are on Windows please don’t attempt bash Linux. If you are happy with Windows there is nothing wrong with that. I am not a zealot nor am I looking to convert you to Linux. You are free to choose your computing platform. If you want to explore Linux it would probably be better to discuss it in detail in a separate thread.

Probably best to check the update changelogs to see what’s been done since you last played. There weren’t any major changes - a lot of tweaks - but there are new constellations and you get 5 more devotion points with AoM.

Whether you play your current characters or start new ones is up to you. Maybe try a couple of the current ones to get a feel for any changes and then decide.
